A little over 2 years ago. I was receiving coupon payment books. Usually around the time the coupons were running low a new book was sent automatically. One time I had to call and I received it on time for my next payment.

In June I didn't receive my coupon book so I called and spoke to a rep, (I think his name was David but not sure, however after this incident that happend I made sure I got names), he said my next payment wasn't due until August. I asked about July and he said, "it shows here, August". So I made my payment for August. And salliemae placed 5 late payments on my credit report for this. I disputed this over and over again. One manager deleted one of them. They said untill I make an extra payment it will show up as late.

I heared on the news your company is being investigated for some incidents adding up to around $500,000. Karma is snapping back. Also, I have reported this to the Better Business Bureau. And this alomost cost my family the purchase of our first house for something that WASN'T MY FALT! So, we are going to pay more than requested every month or even the whole thing off as soon as possible so they make as little money as possile from me and I will fund my childrens education from a more ethical and not so substandard customer service orianted financial institution.
