The collection agency did not honor our agreement. Our agreement was that I would not be charged any fees for their services. Brady Katz was to receive a percentage of the funds in which they collected based on how long it took them to collect. They collected a debt of over $3500 that they did not remit or acknowledged receipt of funds (until I called them one year later after). I received this knowledge from my customer after I tried to collect the same invoice. The customer supplied me with a cancelled check that was remitted to Brady Katz. When I contacted Brady Katz about this matter, I was treated rudely, cussed at an hung up on. They called back and said they would look further into resolving this
matter and that they would work something out, but that I owed them fees for canceling their service. This was never part of our agreement and was not mentioned our their agreement that they used to solicit my business. I also asked at the time to give me an accounting of all of my customers that they were hired to collect and subsequently asked to cease contact with. They have not contacted me since. I have no idea at this point on how much money they have collected on my behalf.
