On March 10, I got a phone call from a Mr. Leo Garaz from ACS claiming he representing Cash advance USA stating that i owe them money for a loan I took out in 2009. I told them i never recieved any funds from that company and all my pay day loans was paid back, he then told me he have my email address, bank info, job info, address, and ip number and that if i give them my credit card number they will take the funds out and send me a letter stating paid in full. I then ask them where they are located and address so i can come to the office and discuss this with him personally and he wont give me that info. He said a law suit will be filed against my social and i can loose my job and it will also affect my fico score i then ask him to fax me the documents that i can see when i tool this loan out and he refuse to do it sating they will see me in court and i will loose everything. I even went one step further and ask him to give me the date when this money was supose to be deposited in my bank so i can check back and see if it was an oversite on my behalf and if i had any insuficient fund transaction and he refuse. I ask him for the number to cash advance usa and he did give me this number 916-234-3016 and to my surprise the person that answer the phone had the same indian accent. I ask the person on the other end of the phone where am i calling for they didn't answer the phone as Cash Advance USA he then ask me for my index number i told him i didnt have one and some one state that this was the company representing cash advance he then place me on a brief hold and return then i ask him when did i receive this money and how much was deposited in my account he stated they couldn't deposited it in my account so they sent it via money gram or check on 3/9/10 i then told him i never received any money and never heard of any payday loan doing business like that and i'm not giving my credit card number to a perfect stranger over the phone. I then called back Mr. Leo at 347-292-8536 and told him what they said and he got pretty upset with me and told me they will see me in court, he also called me at work from 347-457-3022 and when i called back that number it wasn't receiving calls. Someone have to stop these people from harrasing us please!!!
