I received a very disturbing voicemail from some Indian dude claiming that I needed to get my lawyer and call him back at this number 760-269-4172. Well I called the number back and it was disconnected, so I called again and someone answered hello, not this the Law Offices of Blah, so right then and there I knew something was up. Anyway he proceeded to tell me that I was going to be taken to court because I never paid a loan back. Well I told him that I never applied for a loan or received any money, so I didn't owe anything. Well he said that he had an affidavit and he read it to me and told me not to inturpt him while he was reading it. He told me that I was going to be taking to court and charged with all these charges. I started asking him several questions and he got pissed off because I was inquring too much about the situation. This is a scam he couldn't even tell any other info than that I was going to be taken to court and lose my job. He told me that I had an hour to come up with the money or he would send the case over to the court house. First of all the number was from Cali, I live in NC there is no way he was to going to be at the Hickory court house in the morning.
I contacted my bank to varify that I didnt receive any loan and they varified that i hadn't. Thanks to posts on this website I was able to determine that this was a scam. Also supposedly cash advance usa has been bought and it is now Cash Advance Now. Their number is 888-663-6030. I called this number and they varified that I had NO loan with them and that it is Indeed a SCAM... Please do your research before you ever give and information or money to any company. Without doing my own investigation, I could have been scammed. Thanks to this webiste I wasnt scammed by those *!!!
