In October, I applied for an American Gold Card on-line and $20 was deducted from my checking account. I called the company a few weeks later and was told the card was sent on Oct 28 and would arrive in a couple of weeks.
A month or so later the card still hadn't arrived so I called the company again and asked for a refund. I was told one would be mailed on Dec 18.
Subsequent calls to this company have proved fruitless as a representative insists a check was mailed on Dec 18, but I still haven't received the refund. My next step is to call my bank and ask for the money to be refunded to my account.
This company is very fraudulent. Beware consumers!
