I recently received my credit score, which I check on a monthly basis, and noticed a huge drop in score of more than 100 points! To find out what the problem might be, I went and ordered my free credit reports available from annualcreditreport.com. I was able to get a report from Experian and Equifax.
Experian was showing a negative account that was sent to a collection agency, RJM ACQ LLC.in the amount of $565. The original account was supposedly opened at an M&T Bank in 2010. I have never had an account with M&T Bank, so I have no idea how I have an amount owed. I am looking for any advice someone can provide to have this account removed my credit report.
