Walid Jawdeh is a master manipulator and a con artist. He will lure you into an investment with promise of high and steady returns. We met and he discussed how he had gotten into the hard money lending business. He would lend no more than 50% of the appraised value of the property on vacant land sometimes commercial income producing property that was free and clear of liens. The property owner would convey title to him for a designated period of time for high interest.
He would then take investors and issue notes to the investor secured by deeds of trust. Over the following months I invested over $200K in four separate deals with him and began receiving monthly interest payment from him on a regular basis until March of last year. After a number of calls I finally received the April payment in May. All payments were wire transferred into my account. After a lot of excuses and delays he later deposited his company checks into my account in June and July, but they both bounced.
