While applying for a payday loan at a few places, one of them called me back to "confirm" my information and mentioned that mongocard was affiliated with them in some way or another. Then they started speaking really fast reading me all the fine print and hung up before I could get a word in edgewise. I tried calling the number back with no answer. About a week later "mongocard" attempted withdrawing $99.95 from my account and a day later tried withdrawing $97.94. When I called them they said not only had I authorized them to take the $99.95 out of my bank account but they also tried claiming I had attempted to make purchases from them with a card I hadn't even received! When they told me what the purchases were it sounded like something I would purchase but they tried to tell me I tried purchasing 2 copies of the same videogame! So moral of the story, don't give out your bank information to someone that's not directly affiliated with a reputable bank.
