I signed up with NCER with the best of intentions-to repair my credit score and ranking. I was assured, assured that most troubling aspects of your credit history could be contested and legally removed. All that was required was some patience and the $400 fee. I eagerly signed up although I thought the fee was high. I received an enrollment package of two credit repair books which contained information on reparing your credit yourself.
Any of this information could have been easily bought for $19.95 at a local book store or received free of charge from consumer advocacy groups. I was again ASSURED that my "case" would be handled by an individual rep assigned to me. NEVER.
NOT ONCE did I ever receive a call, followup, notification or status report of my account. I called several times and was placed on hold for 10/20/30 min and always told that my account was still processing and to call back in a few weeks. No superviser was available on the 8 calls I made to the office after months of NOTHING BEING DONE.
This has been going on 9 months and not a single message has been returned or information sent to me. The 1800# I was initially given was also cancelled.
This company is a figment of our imagination designed to fool you into giving them your money and then "disappearing in plain sight". Do not get taken and if you have been_fill out a report!!
