I had been getting calls from an Officer Alex who has been stating that he was from the Department of Financial Investigations. He is claiming that I have a lqwsuit against me and if I didnt return his call that I would be in seriously troue. Further details about about it were not disclosed and the guy doesnt even sound like he is from the United States. I automatically knew it was a scam because 1) i am in the U.S. Army so wouldnt that lawsuit been flagged on the extensive FBI background check that was administered when signing up and 2) No details were given to me regarding the actual company filing the lawsuit.
If anyone has had any similiar problems DO NOT give them any more information then they already have, which is mainly just your name and SSN.
