My business partner and I were approached by his brother (Kevin Whited) to start a gold mine. We loaned the money to start the operation and to receive a partnership interest. The mine was supposed to become self-sufficient within two months and begin paying us back.
Instead of running a successful mine, he failed to oversee the mine and spent his time on other pursuits. As soon as we stopped paying his over budget enterprise and he had extracted some gold, he stopped giving us true information but gave us many stories of lies and deception. We have yet to receive any of our money back or to be given any records of how much gold was extracted, sold, or spent.
Be very careful of Kevin Whited; he deceived his own brother.
