Valued Customer? Try paying them early and over the amount due! I haven't used my card in over 9 months, have paid every month, sometimes twice a month and always about $20 more each month than is due. Yet my balance has only gone down a few dollars since I last used my credit card.
I have called several times to try to figure this out. They tell me that it is due to late fees and other fees, like debt cancellation fee that I called to cancel over 3 months ago. They obviously don't keep notes as I have to repeat each time I call.in fact, one rude manager had the nerve to tell me that if I "would have called months ago when you first noticed the problem" they could have done something sooner. I told her I had and in fact have been calling just about every month to try to resolve this issue.
When I called today, I pleasantly asked the Customer Service Rep if I could speak to her manager because I was upset and did not want to take it out on her as I knew it was not her fault. I was transferred to a very rude supervisor who spoke over me constantly, raised her voice and had me so upset I demanded to speak with her manager. The second person was a little easier to speak with but not much and would not even try to understand my frustration.
After I swore to her that I would never buy from Best Buy again, she let me know that they had nothing to do with the store and by the time I hung up, I was extremely upset and did not know what to do. I finally called back and somehow reached a man named Prasand (sp?) who was very calming, asked me to be positive and said he would work with me for a positive experience and said he could see where I had canceled my debt cancellation 3 months ago.
I hope I never have to deal with this company again! Apparently it is a bad thing to over pay a bill and to do it early. I felt penalized for doing so.
