On Sept 17th I totaled my car out andI called gmac for a payout and was told it would be $10,600.00 and changeMy insurance co. Sent me a check for $10,994.00 the difference being around $400.00. I also felt that since I was monly into half of sept. I should be refunded the rest of the month. I also had been dealing with gmac on having made 2 payments in may. I received a check from my ins.Co. At the end of sept, and was told to endorse and send it to Payment Processing Center in Tx. Which I did. After having numerous calls with people from both gmac and ally I found out that I was stilol being charged $424,00 a mkonth on my car! I figured with May's double payment and half refund for sepy. And then tack on withdrawls from oct. And nov. At $424.00 a month and the extra charges from my bank for covering checks I had written because I didn't deduct the car payments for oct. And nov. That's $35.00 a pop. Plus an extra $35.00 for a stop payment for Dec.in case this wasn't resolved by then. I figured I had $2065.00 that was owed to me from car payments and fines and received a check for $775,55 with no notations of what it was supposed to cover! When I called and complained I was told that my payments were still coming out because they hadn't received the insurance check yet! I figure besides the $775.55 I'm due at least $1290.00 and that's just an estimate. If I'm forced to hire an attorney I can guarentee you that besides the money that is due me I'm 100% disabled from the V.A. On top of Social Security and can prove that I can't make it with the money that I've lost already! I don't want anything coming to me that isn't due me. I had to take my first nitro in 2 to 3 years after talking to your reps. If This email doesn't get a response I will have to get an attorney and I can guarantee you I'll be going after pain and suffering on top of everything else. Just do the right thing and get this settled once and for all! Michael Rowley...
