I have just received a renewal note from HSBC car insurance, informing me that I have taken out car insurance with them and charging me 445. I did not authorise this. On examining the documentation (14 pages!) there is a small paragraph, in small print, which states that they are entitled to auto renew. This is disgraceful and will deceive customers. I have complained to them and the financial ombudsman. BE CAREFUL if you are considering taking out insurance with HSBC.
