I also think i fell for this. The funny thing is that i am enrolled of a debt consolidation company (credicure) and someone called me claiming to be from credicure and then they transfered me to this so called company called south star benefits.
They said i could get a card with 0 interest if i paid 300 bucks. Plus they will throw in a digital camera and something else. It sounded sort of fishy, but i went ahead and gave them my info. The transaction went through today. I tried calling to see when i would get everything and see if everything was all right. I tried 2 numbers, 800-799-# and 800-588-# and both have busy signals. Did i get ripped off?!?! Please help me. Let me know if this company is legit.
