I live in South Carolina and recently I have found out that Fairbanks Capital has added insurance on to my home. I already have homeowners insurance through State Farm and they have faxed Fairbanks capital my policy but it did no good. I filed a complaint with consumer affairs and now they say the insurance they added, I agreed to over the phone but I did not. They say the insurance I have is decorative insurance and dismemberment insurance. I have never heard of either one. I have asked for a copy of the paper I supposedly signed or the phone call where I agreed to this on and they can not produce either one. I am at my wits end so I have refused to make a payment until they can produce that information. I may be wrong for that but I am one that will not be screwed.
There is more to the story but this is just a start to the story. If anyone can give me some information please feel free to do so.
