100% Customer Satisfaction? They should rename that "The Ultimate In Customer Runaround"

I was persuaded to join this company back in August or September of last year. I was naiive and didn't understand all that would be required of me but went ahead anyway with the encouragement of their friendly staff.

A day of two later I rethought my decision and called to cancel my membership. The lady on the other line informed me that I should look over the binder they would send me through the mail and base my decision off of that. After browsing through that flimsy binder packed full of grayscale papers, I remained firm in my decision that this company was not for me.

I called again and the gentleman said that I could not cancel my membership because I did not follow their rules during the first year with their company. Eventually he allowed me to leave the company minus the cost of the binder.

Up to this point, I would say I was about... 75% satisfied with how they handled themselves. Here comes the fun part!

I suppose I "officially" asked for my refund in February of this year. I say "officially" because I assumed that once I canceled my membership, I would be informed of my refund status. That was not the case. Perhaps they were swamped, perhaps my file got lost in the cracks, whatever the case may be, I completely understood.

But since then, I have been continually calling and calling and emailing and calling for someone in that company to refund my money. I wasted hours of my life waiting an average of 15-23 minutes to talk to a real person. I have begged and even at one point, been reduced to tears.

I have been working with Chris M to receive my money. Chris M is doing a mighty fine job Mary Gersten - he DESERVES A RAISE! Supposedly, he has been diligently contacting your Accounting Department in order to resolve this matter.

From what he has told me, in the past almost 8 months, they have not even ACKNOWLEDGED that he has contacted them. How frustrating! Of all the times I requested Chris and other members to email them, they should have received over a dozen emails. I can understand that you can be overwhelmed at times, but 8 months, really?

Mary Gersten, you should have their computers analyzed! Perhaps when setting up their email accounts, the emails labeled "WORK" were accidentally labeled "SPAM".

Are you even certain that they are still alive? I recommend that you check their pulse! I lose sleep at night wondering about the state of your Accounting Department!

Sometimes I imagine that the Accounting Department float about as ghosts - capable of eluding all of their other coworkers even though they work in the same building. How fitting, seeing as Halloween is today!

Chris M would not give me their email address. He stated, "I cant include you on the emails I send to accounting as they do not talk to students directly and you would have their email address if I did that." Yes Chris, that was the whole point.

I paid $199 plus tax to join this company. How sorry I am that I did. I also empathize with those hundreds of people around the world who also fell victim to this company.

Mary Gersten, stop falsely advertising your company! Don't say your company stands by a 100% customer satisfaction rate when that is NOT the case!
