I filed my taxes with taxbrain as I have done for the last 6 years had my fees taken out like usual. This year was no different filed waited for the deposit to come, but it wasnt deposited like it should have been. I spoke with the representative who explained at first sometimes the IRS deposited a week after the date. I waited no refund still. I finally received an email which stated that the refund was not going to happen due to a error on there banking part which enetered there routing number wrong so it went to republic bank instead of santa barbara bank and that now I will have to wait until the the money is sent back to the irs and the irs issues me a check by mail which could take up to 4-8 weeks. I then called the IRS to confirm this which they did. I'm trying to figure out how a company that deals with taxes and direct deposits could make sure a huge error that thousands of people have to wait on their taxes now by mail.
