Santa Barbara Bank And Trust - Taxbrain
Santa Barbra Bank and Trust 2009 tax year, SBBT incorrectly deposited my tax refund into republic bank internet

To make a long story short.

I filed my taxes with TaxBrain, who uses SBBT as a third party if you want your fees deducted. Well some how my money went from the IRS to Republic Bank and not SBBT.

Well the IRS says that whoever filed my taxes gave the incorrect acct number, which that means taxbrain or SBB gave the wrong information to the IRS for the direct deposit.

SBBT blames the IRS, the IRS says its SBBT or taxbrain.

The IRS says it will tack a minimum of 6 weeks to clear up!

The IRS told me to file for free with them next year and this will not happen BUT it will take at least 2 weeks for them to return the money.
