I have been a member of American Express since 1999 and have 4 different accounts. Always paid the Gold in full and then they let me do payments on some things. Then I guess the powers that be decided that I couldn't do that anymore. The Gold card is not supposed to have a credit limit but the minute I get to 800.00 they are calling me for payment or suspend my charging ability. I have always paid all of these on time and I don't understand what the heck is going on. I don't think I will be using them anymore and will be cutting all my cards up. Amex used to be a good company but I think even the good customers and faithful customers are being penalized for the not so good ones and that just s*ks.
