I started a loan Modification about two years ago. At the time i was $2,000.00 behind. Wells Fargo said no problem gave me a Modification. I paid 3 months on it. Then was told I forgot to send a paper in. I sald you never told me about the paper. They said no problem will give you a new Modification
I was told it would take a few weeks not to pay for the next month. So i waited. I recieved the new Modification. Made 2 payments, the 3rd payment came back to me. Was told it did not get there on time. It had to be posted on the day the loan was due. I said i sent it in 7 days before the date. Was told I should send it in about 15 days before the due date. As it might not get posted if it was sent in later than 15 days would be in mail room... BUT not problem would be given a new Modification...
3rd Modification... Was given... I started sending every thing over night and had to be signed also only money orders... My payment was for the 24th of each month... I called to make sure they had the payment they said they didn't I ASKED how they couldn't have it as i had the copy that it had be delievered on the 16th. Then said not to worry. Was probably in the mail room. I said i was worried as i didn't want another Modification as now i was $12,000.00 behind from only $2,000.00
I called back the 23th still no payment. Said i should file for a lost money order. I said its not lost you have it. They said the didn't have it. But on the 25 or 26th i received the money order back with a statement that the money order was late and would need a new loan modification...
I called and tried to talk to a mananger but no one was ever there and no one would ever call me back. Could never talk to the same person. No one ever know what was going on... SO now i am with a new loan Modification... That one lasted one payment... Because they didn't get the paper back that they needed lol...
Last Loan Modification... I made all my payments received letter stating that i finished my modification. Was told payment would be due 1st of month. And I had to send in a payment to finish modification. But the was no amount I had to send it. So I called asked what i had to send it. Was told i didn't need to send any thing in... I said the paper said i did. SHE said some people do need to send something in. You dont// just send in the papers you sign. All 3 of them. Well. I DID BUT I HAVE MAKING COPIES OF ALL THE PAPERS GOING BACK AND FORTH FOR THE PAST YEAR AND HALF..
After i sent in all the paper to finish my modification. I about a week later. I get a letter telling me my modification was cancelled because i did not do what i was suppost to do... I called back asked what i didint do... Was told I needed to send in $748.00 to finish the Modification... I told them there wqas nothing on the papers i recieived to show that, and that i had called in and was told not to send any thing in..
So after weeks of fighting with them over the phone some one called and told me they saw it was their mistake and would keep my modification... I was happy. For a week..
I sent the $748.00 in. And received a statement that i was behind on my house payment. They would help and give me a modification. Just send in all of the info they needed...
I called back said i had a modification. Was told my new payment was $ 834.00 { i think} but i only sent in a part of the payment when i sent in the $748.00 told them that was for my modification... Was told after a long time things would be worked out... Would be sent a package to tell me how much my payment would be. And to bring my account up to date. Because it was the faught
Few weeks later i get a notice to try and save my home i should do a loan modification... I CALLED again. And i a matter of 10 minutes. I was told my payment was $800.00 something. Was upset hung up called back about 10 mins. Later talked to some one else and was told my payment was$697.00.. I asked how i was going to make a payment if i didn't know what my payment was. AGAIN i was told I would get something in the mail... NEVER DID RECEIVE ANY THING
This is still going on. At one point i was told my payments would be a little over $400.00 I keep calling in telling every one i talk to I DON'T WANT TO LOSE MY HOME BUT HOW CAN I MAKE A PAYMENT IF I DON'T KNOW WHEN WHERE OR HOW MUCH TO SEND IN...
I asked for a home office number some big shot to talk with. Was told i couldn't talk to any one like that. But they could help me. I TOLD them i have talked every one in there. Have names of every one i talked to. AND no one gives the same answer. No one knows what they are doing. Well then i think they do... THEY are giving so many modifications until you are so far behind you can;t pay you loan off. And they take your home..
I was told there is no phone number for the president of the company. Could not talk to any one else...
There are other problems i have had with them over the payments. Would be glad to show you the papers i have. The times i have called. And all the help i did not get...
I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ANY MORE. This has been going on for almost two years. Something needs to be done about how bad they are. Its not right that they can have people worry sick about their homes when the we are doing all we can to keep our home. And WELLS FARGO keeps messing up so they will end up getting our homes...
