I was granted a temporary 3 month modificaion which began in Aug. 15 days after making October payment, I received a letter of default on my loan with no credit for the 3 month modification payments made. Now they are telling me that I could still be put into foreclosure even though I made the 3 payments. I thought the modification modified your original agrrement and in the letter that I receved it said "do not make any other payment, just the new payment set by modification. It seems they are not honoring the modification. Please help or do I need a lawyer???
