Ripoff keep charging overdraft charges won't close my account

Key Bank is a ripoff. They charge $28.00 in overdraft charges. This makes me mad. I have a negative balance of $221 all in overdraft charges. The thing is that it accumulated that amount in three weeks. It should be more like $100 in overdraft charges. They are overcharging overdraft charges. I can't believe this is all from being overdrawn a measly $1.50.

I know this seems kind of my fault for not trying to close my account right way. I did try to five days ago. I was assured it would be closed the next day. A couple of days later I look at my statement online-if my account was closed I wouldn't be able to view it. They let another charge get put on there. Which means that people can still request payment but I can't pay them.
I'm angry that I got another charge added. I e-mail them. I get a reply saying they can't close an account with a negative balance when i called and the lady on the phone said it would be done. I don't even know who requested payment. It doesn't say on my statement

Another thing is that this means they are being dishonest by giving conflicting info. They said on my mailed statement that they will not let my account be overcharged more than three times.By three times overchared then your account should be closed. Nope it's still open and they can still charge overdraft charges every five days. This is a hardship since i'm unemployed and have no income coming in. I have applied for social security but it may take awhile to get approved. I can't work because of a disability. I have no one to lend me the money cause others are in financial hardship also. Don't bank at Key Bank! They are a there to steal your money. You can't rob them, but they can rob you!
