Two young women came to our home and stated they were trying to earn money to go to college, and also if they sold a certain quota of product, they could go on a trip. At first they tried to sell me some magazines, and I declined. I didn't want any more magazines. Then they told me about the coupon book that I could get. They said it was a book of $5. Oo and $10.00 coupons that could be used anywhere for anything. They said they were more like vouchers that you could use just like cash.
At first I said no, but they whined, and pleaded, and asked why I would turn down the opportunity for $1000.00 worth of these vouchers, at a cost of only $30.00. After a length of time, my common sense left me, and I agreed to purchase the book of "vouchers". What I received was not a book of vouchers, but a book of coupons that I could mail back, along with $2.00, for 1-5 coupons that would total $10.00 worth of coupons. I could only send in one of these coupons at a time, and each time I would be required to enclose another $2.00.
In other words, it's just another scam... Who is going to pay $2.00 for coupons that you can get for free in the Sunday paper? I feel like such an idiot for falling victim to this scam.
The resolution I seek is the return of my $30.00. Anything you can do to help me realize this goal would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
