I contacted this company in hopes that they would be able to assist me in gaining an equipment loan to begin my american dream. I told them exactly what I needed and wanted during the first phone call. At that time I was emailed an application to apply for one of their equipment leases. I was sent back an approval email almost immediately.
At that point they began requesting all the things that we would need to get our equipment. Dispite getting very short rude and condescending replies to any of our questions (of course this is the first time we've done this, we apologize if we have stupid questions: like "what's our interest rate") we gave them everything they asked for. Even paid them $1,350 toward gaining our lease, this includes a $200 documentation fee (yea I know). They had us spend almost $400 to get condition reports for every item that was to be leased as well. The faster we collected the documents, photos, signatures etc. That they requested the more ridiculous the requests became.
After almost a month of dealing with one particular rude, unprofessional person on their staff, I began recognizing that he was placing more and more obstacles in our path toward gaining our lease. I have to add, at no time ever did we retaliate when this person was snappy, or demeaning to us during this process. I mean, why would we, we thought he was going to assist us in accomplishing our dream! What started out as an exciting path to accomplishing the ultimate American dream (starting our own business) quickly became an eye opener that they were blowing smoke up our a* just so that they could hang on the our money. I came to the heart wrenching conclusion that he didnt plan on getting us the lease that he claimed we had been approved for (and paid money to get).
When I called in to their office to verify the latest set of documentation, that apparantly no one knew I was going to need in the begining. I guess this was there first time doing an equipment lease. I was greeted with the same rude a*, uncharismatic, jerk talking down to me and telling me that we didnt have "A SNOWBALLS CHANCE IN H*LL" of getting the equipment lease that he said we were already approved for. His words, not mine. Pretty professional of him huh?
At that point I asked him why they had wasted our time and money if he knew I wouldnt get this equipment lease. He responded with "I dont have the time to do this back and forth with you"."You can email our refunds department at [email protected] and see what you can get!" And then hung up. Of course at this point Im just standing there holding the phone in my hand thinking of all the time and money I had just wasted dealing with this moron and this company. I could have gone to a real, professional business!
After sending a very frustrated email to their refunds department and [email protected] I waited an hour to calm down. I called into their office and spoke with a person that introduced herself as Taycor's VP of operations. She was apparently made aware of the email that I had just sent in earlier. I was surprised that they actually gave me a real email address. She blew more smoke up my a* just to get me off the phone by telling me that she was sorry about the other person being so unprofessional and that she would try to help me get the equipment lease or my money back. We talked the next day and she said that they would not help me get the equipment lease. I asked her to please send the reasoning in the form of an email, she refused. She gave me a very generic accuse why and said that they will be sending my money back in the mail.
And I even got a call from the landlord of the business we we're seeking the equipment for later that evening, and even when he attempted to talk to the same rude person from before he said that he was talked to inappropriately as well. And therefore did not want to be involved in the future. Thanks alot Taycor!
If your seeking an equipment lease, DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY ON TAYCOR!
