I paid off my Merrick Bank charge account. Then I returned some merchandise to several stores who credited my Merrick Bank VISA charge. The result was a credit of close to $1200.00. When I tried to get the bank to authorize a charge for me to withdraw the money (my money), they refused to authorize the charge. Thus, Merrick Bank took my money and has refused to give it back to me or to give me interest on the money that they have had now for almost a week. This place is really a rip off. Stay Away!
