Customer Exploitation American Consumer Alliance and ASPIRE VISA

I am writing about a problem which happened three years ago when I was still a customer of ASPIRE Visa. I opened my monthly statement and noticed a charge for $69.99 from a company whose product and services I never sought. The company's name is the "American Consumer Alliance, " a company who offers discounted retail items through magazine.

I called the phome number associated with the charge on my statement, and was connected to a sales agent who tried to get me to accept the charge for $69.99; to subscribe to the services of the "ACA". Apparently Aspire and possibly other credit card companies, are allowing for unwarranted corporate markenting to occure though credit card statements. I am sure Aspire gets revenue from this. Think about it. Whether I seek out the services of a company or a company seeks me out is irrelevant to Aspire, as long as it generates revenue-

What if I was at the end of my charging limit - then was hit with this charge.in the eyes of the creditor, I would still be responsible for all monetary penalties fees for going over the charge limit. If I am responsible for penalty fees, interest, and credit spending, than ulitimately I should have complete control over who appears on my monthly statement, by with whom I use the card. To the credit card companies, it's still THEIR money anyway that being borrowed -
Ethics aside, they seem to have the right to play with company assets any way they want, even at the expense of their customers
(that's how theyt make $ isn't it?)
