Complaint / review text:
After 3 years of good customer with this company. This is what we get? 3 weeks ago we closed our store due to very slow bussiness. We tried contacting this company Merimac Capital to cancel our service and asking them where we can send back our merchant machine. We talked to this collection specialist and he wantus to pay $1469.05 and finally he decided to lower it to $400.00 as a settlement. (are you kidding me)???
We paid 3 years of service a good business for this Merimac Capital now this is what we get? We received a mutual agreement from them as we need to pay $400.00 settlement and return the machine.
I dont know how to stop this. We closed out busisness because we are loosing lots of money and now we been threaten by this company (Merimac Capital) By Collection Specialits Jamie Cantu that we do not have any choice. Pay or they will send this to collection and they said they will make our credit worse than we have right now... They just gave us 6/30/2010 to send the settlement. Or they will send us invoice for $1469.05
Anyone can please help us on this? Looks like i'm not the only one here.
After ready all the complain not sure if it safe to pay $400.00 and return the machine. As lots here after they return the machine there is anothe invoice adding to the agreement.
