My mother received a call at her home from a Nita Dunn @ extention 263 asking for me under my previous married name that I have not used in over 16 years! I have not lived in the same town or used her phone number in almost 20 years!
They were extremely rude to my mother, demanding where I was, how to contact me, said my mother's number was listed as my sister's (they have had the same phone number for almost 30 years!), and told my mother that "I had better contact them by 9am the following day", then told her that "I need to take care of my responsibilities".
This sounded extremely fishy to me due to the following: A) They had my mother's phone number as my younger sister's. B) They used a name I haven't used in over 16 years! C) I have never & would never use my sister as a reference for anything due to reasons I would rather not put on here, but suffice it to say¬ a quality reference.
I tried to return the call (blocking my number) to Nita Dunn at extention 263, and it went directly to her voice mail. I left a message that she might contact my mother to explain what this was in reference to, and I would reply as necessary. I have checked my credit report, and this company is not listed anywhere on it.
When I got home from work, I looked up the company, and found several other cases very similar to the on consumer complaints. This led me to write of my own experience.
