I can't believe it! My mother, who is 70 yrs old, has been getting screamed at by employees of Camco. They are actually asking for me but I haven't lived there in 20 years! Are they so stupid that they can't look me up in the phone book? They have to harrass my 70 yr old mother? Give me a break!
The first time they called her they scared her by telling her that they could only talk to me or my husband (I'm not married) but that it was very important. She called me at work to tell me about it so I called them and was told it was an answering service and they couldn't give me any information. I thought it was just a phone solicitor so I blew them off.
Well, tonight they called my mother again and she told them that she gave me the message but that I wasn't interested. At that point they started screaming at her! When she called to tell me about it I decided to take care of it right then. I called and asked for Mr. Nathan Box (yeah right) and told him that he was not to contact my Mother again and what was this in reference to. He said it was an account he was trying to collect from 1986!! I just laughed and he brought up the statute of limitations thing and that they would settle the debt for $125. The original debt was only $292!! I don't even know if it's mine, it's so old and I was so young then... But even if it is my debt, they can go to h*ll for the way they treated my mother.
