RBS National Bank
RBSNB, RBS Bank Unfair Business Practices, Rude to Customers, Deceptive Practices

I am very upset at the business practices of RBS National Bank. I have been a member in excellent standing with RBS National Bank for several years, and let me also add, that I have NEVER BEEN LATE WITH A PAYMENT! It was 2 months ago, when something very unusual happened. I sent in my Payment way before the scheduled due date. I assumed everything was okay, until I got my next bill which showed a late payment charge. I didn't understand, so I called RBS, and it was then that I found out that they have changed the due date, in which payment is due. I was unaware of this change before talking to them on the phone. After wasting nearly 2 hours of my life speaking to several reps, and even a supervisor... I finally spoke to an Extremely Rude Supervisor (Who refused to give a name) who told me that it is totally against company policy to refund a late charge. So for some reason, instead of a rep telling me I was wasting my time, trying to get a refund of the charge, they kept giving me the run around for 2 hours. The supervisor also, told me that because I had made the payment after the changed due date, that I wouldn't have to make a payment for the month of May, but I just need to make the payment for April. At this point, im upset, but I make the payment for April. Then the next month, and another Late Charge. I call back, and find out that the Supervisor was wrong or either lied about what he said, regarding what month my payment credited for. I have a nearly perfect credit score, and have plenty of means to pay my bills on time. It just makes me sick, when companies like this use deceptive practices to get late fees. The only reason they are doing this, is because finally the Federal Gov't is starting to get hard on banks, and how banks can charge people. It looks like RBS is looking for a new way to scam its customers out of money. I won't tolerate this, and will do whatever it takes to make my voice heard! Today, I called and now you are saying that my last payment took care of May, so I don't owe anything for it. You are trying to run the same scam on me again? How many people are you ripping off? How many thousands and thousands of dollars are you guys scamming off of your loyal customers. Don't think you will get away with this!
