I finally made my final payment to Axsys National Bank for things that I had ordered from Fingerhut a few years ago. At least, I thought it was my last payment. I then got another statement saying that I owed $18.50 for a late charge. I paid that thinking that my payment might have been received late.
I made this payment on January 20 which made plenty of time to get to the office by the due date of February 1. When I called to see if my payment had been credited to my account, it had not. The last payment before the late charge one was mailed on December 26.2003 and credited to my account by December 31. Am I going to be forever be making late payments to these people?
