I was served on 2 accts with this lawfirm and went to the clerks office and responed to there filling after each judgment was served by a law official and i said i do owe the debt that you r saying i own but not as much as you say i owe so i ask for the original contract to be send to me as far as a copy i have never gotten one till this day i do have a court date i wanted the judge to hear my case so my husband wanted me to call them to set up a payment plan and i did i did come to aggrement with them on the phone i owe them 2 debts i decide i could pay around 150.00 a piece on them a month and she ask me if i wanted to set the payment up on the acct then i said no not till i get a paper from the as far as a aggrement of this she said ok then she would put it in the mail so when my husband came hom, e from work i told him what i did as far as setting up a payment plan with them he told me i set the ammount to pay back to them to high with my only oweing them 4800 she told me i didnt have to go to court on june 10 so my husband wants me to call her on mon to ask for the orignal contract still and he said if they cant show me the orignal contract to go on to court on june 10 she didnt ask for no acct numbers on the bank accts she said soon as u get the papers sign them and send it to the viva overnight mail. With me aggreing with this without me signing on this yet will it be set in stone and can they take my social sercurity check from me in the state of ga r levy on my checking acct if me and my husband both have our names on everything. Please someone tell me what to do i have so many different things going through my mind right now i have no ideal what to do we had credit cards wacked up when my husband had a wreck got sick then he got layed off work and this is all been going on for a year now him on a job off a job and credit problems vs job lose and me on social sercurity what do i do we can only pay so much and that it please help give me advice on what i need to do and so many scams going on you never know what to do r who to pay anymore and most of the cards i am in default with r charged off r sold to a company r written off on my credit report
