This company asked for collateral for a loan. When I submitted, they in turn ask for more collateral upfront. When I resisted at this point, I was denied for the loan and told I would receive a refund

I have contacted Western Union, my bank, the company, and even the better business bureau. I have lost $1000 from this company scam. Now this company is out of business as of early March. Please someone tell me how I get the refund that I deserve as no one else can help me. Everyone says contact the merchant, however they merchant is now no longer in business. I guess all of the employees are vacationing off of the scams they got people out of. The BBB has 13 complaints for this business. Please do NOT pay upfront collateral for a loan in change of no payments for the first 4 - 6 months. It is a scam!
