I have my homeowner's insurance escrowed into to my house payments, and have been making all monthly payment on time and filed a homeowner's claim on my home (Feb. 5) and was called back a couple days later to be informed that I have no homeowner's insurance because Bank of America has not paid my insurance payments. Thus I would not have found out if I would not have had a claim. When I called Bank of America I was told that this was just and oversight. Meanwhile their oversight has put me at risk and I cannot get any insurance until my home is repaired and Bank of America is dragging their feet, and even after that Bank of America said that they are going to get insurance at a cost of close to $6000 a year, which will up my house payment by $400, due to their oversight.
