Loan scam! Yorkview financial services! Stay away, will take your money

I am a college student and I need assistance in paying for my tuition. I go to school full time and I need help since tuition is so extremely high. My credit is not that great because of mistakes I made in my early days. I was applying for student loans online, when this company called Yorkview Financial Services called me. They told me they could get me a $6000.00 loan regardless of my credit. I was so excited. I could get a loan and did not have to take the walk of shame and ask someone to co-sign. Well the walk of shame slapped me right in the face. A man by the name of Brandon Wells, contacted me and fed me exactly what I wanted to hear. These guys are good at what they do! Preying on the people that need a little help. He said he had a private lender to give me the loan and the money could be deposited in 24 hours. All I had to do was wire him 4 up front payments totaling $1080.00. He faxed me a contract that looked legit. As a college student, this was a lot of money to me. I scraped up every sent I had, along with my boyfriends money, to send this money that was a, "collateral payment because of my credit." I have never taken out a loan, other than my vehicle, so I had no clue that this was a red flag. When I went to wire the money, they gave me a name of a guy in Russia to send the money to. I should have listened to the voice in my head that was telling me something doesn't seem right. But I was in a corner with not many options. So I sent it. I was also told that I would be refunded the 83.00 dollar fee that it cost me to send the wire. Well the next day, no money. So I called back Mr. Wells and he sent me to Customer Service to a man named Kyle. Kyle told me there was a problem with my loan and that they could not get it insured because I claimed the wrong debt to income ratio on my application. I thought to myself, I don't even remember filling out that on an application. He said I had to send another 1080.00, another 4 months payments, in order to get the 6 grand, which mind you could be deposited into my account in 24 hours. Or he said he could refund my money. So I asked for the refund, but then he told me that it would not be sent out until April 5th. It hit my like a ton of bricks. I had been scammed and fell for it hook, line and sinker. I started to panic and immediately broke out into tears. I told him that I had sent everything I had. I had no gas to get to school, I had 26 cents in my bank account for the past 3 days, I was hungry, and did not know where to turn. I told him I all ready knew that I would never see this money again. He asked me why I said that. I told him that I could'nt find his address anywhere and there was another post from a women that this happened to. He told me, well everyone complains about Visa but that doesn't stop people from applying. I all ready knew what was I had did was a mistake, so I poured my heart out to this man letting him know what he was doing was wrong. His response was to put me on hold, and never came back. I sat 30 min then hung up. PLEASE do not send money to these people!!! I am in a worse position that before these people came into my life.

I filed complaints with numerous companies including, BBB, Federal Trade Commission, FBI, The local police, Western Union, and a few others. Please be aware of these companies. They are working there way to the younger generation that really needs to be aware of these types of scams. I am worried what they will do with my drivers license, and I have changed all my bank accounts and credit cards. They punched my in the gut and it will take awhile to stand back up from this one.By April 5th, this company will be long gone.

I have been doing research on them. I used a website called WHOIS and this company is out of Venezuela. They are registered through a website called ccipanama.com but it is not in english. From what I can make out, I think this is how they are running there operation. The registered number is disconnected. Go figure. Another common fact I found in common with other victims of these loan scams is that I did apply for a student loan through Lending Tree and other victims had used this same site. I think this is where these people found me so I would be alert! I hope this information helps the next person and saves them their hard earned income!
