I applied for a student loan online. I got a call from "Catherine Brown" who said that she got me approved for a 60k loan. I asked her where she got my info and she said it was from an application I filled out online. I told her that I was going back to school and needed a loan that I would not have to repay until after I graduated. She said ok let me ask your lender. She then said thats fine you dont have to pay it back until January. This already seemed weird since I had a BK not even a year ago. She then said that all I had to do was wire then 2,100 dollars and they would directly deposit the money into my account within 1 to 5 days. I said why would I give you money to get money? She said well its insurance to us that you will pay back the money. Red flag right there since 2k is nothing compared to the 60k they were going to lend me. I then told her that I was in the mortgage industry for the past 7 years and there is no way that I had to give them money. I asked what bank was giving me this money and she said its a private lender. Its a person who has a lot of money and doesnt mind lending it out because they have millions and are easier to work with then banks. She assured me that I had nothing to worry about and that I would receive the money as soon as I wired the 2k to her. I said ok what do I need to do. She said to wire the money via Western Union to Anya Martial in Detroit Michigan. I then googled the company and all these fraud reports came up with the same situation as mine. DONT SEND MONEY TO GET MONEY! This place is such a scam.
