Beware of a credit life policy on a new auto purchase from this company!
They like for auto dealers to peddle their wares but they will do anything and everything not to pay a claim on the policy. Their contracts are so full of legalese if something does happen they will find a way to disqualify the policy holder.
This isn't like a credit life policy of a cc with a $4000 balance, these are policies for large amounts in the tens of thousands so of course they don't want to pay on it. So much as one trip to the doctor after one has purchased this sham credit life policy from them will disqualify the policy holder. Their reps are very rude and will hang up on you. They are well trained in talking out the side of their face though, definitely company folk imo that don't care about the consumer, just maintaining their paycheck.
In my experience dealing with them on behalf of a deceased relative, they have consistantly flat out lied as to what they have said. If you have one of their credit life policies and talk to them on the phone, record the conversation! Not only will they lie to you, they will lie to anyone you report them to. Just like I'm sure they'll rebutt this with more lies. They quote "rules" that aren't included in any of the contracts or paperwork the consumer gets with the purchase of their useless credit life policy, their contracts are misleading, deceptive, and contradictory.
A friend of mine who is an insurance agent of 30 years purchased a new vehicle and one of their credit life policies as the "price was right", didn't require an exam, and seemed "too good to be true". When he got home and read the fine print and how confusing and seemingly misleading it was, he canceled the policy. Factual example.
Don't trust the auto dealers to know much about the policies they sell either, they just want the commission for the upsell. AVOID CREDIT LIFE POLICIES ON VEHICLES ESPECIALLY FROM THIS COMPANY! You will get the same effect from just taking the money and burning it.
