When Stoneleigh Recovery first contacted me, I knew I had a credit card in default... I had lost my job. I spoke to Mr. Lucas. Everything seemed legit for the first few weeks.
After that, I began to recieve phone calls at work, which I NEVER authorize. My family in Washington state began recieving phone calls... I live in Louisiana. I thought that was bizzare but it had happened before with a bank i used to be with.
The phone calls got increasingly harrasing and rude. My boyfriend, God love him, decided to help me out and sent a check for 350ish to the company. I was told that I would recieve a letter of clearance of my account with in 30 days... That was in November. Its now March.
Needless to say... I got caught in a scam. Well... Things happen. And from now on... I'm going to do my homework.
