I bought products through Pier One utilizing their charge card by Pursuit. I'd promotional amounts that expired 3/1,4/1 and 7/1. I settled the total amount prior to the promotional termination of 3/1 prior to that date; however, they applied my payment to the balance which expired 4/1 resulting in an interest charge of $88.57 from the promotional balance that ended 3/1.
After I called Pier One customer support, they stated this was a direct result the brand new charge card regulation changes efficient 2/22. Their clarification was that funds needed to be put on the cheapest rate of interest. I discussed that my prices would be the same. Then they stated that they'd to use the cost towards the promotional stability that finished the most recent. Nevertheless, this did not seem sensible given that they used my cost to another promotional stability which ended 4/1 instead of towards the last stability that ended 7/1. Both customer support representative & the boss declined to return my curiosity, and so I shut my bill.
Unsure when there is something that I will do about that. Thanks for the time & please allow me to know when you have any recommendations.
