I paid them $1500 to work on refinancing my house. I was told not to pay my mortgage. They said they will talk to them. I never had any type of follow up calls. Never heard any progress. I then received a letter stating they were dropping me for not paying the next payment. I was hesistant to pay since I did not hear anything from them.
After a year, I just refinanced my house with my lender.
I asked them for a full refund because of lack of communication and since they never did anything for me. They asked for the copy of the check and I faxed it over. They told me it would take 30-45 days for my refund to process.
After 45 days past, I was emailed this:
We apologize for the delay but there is a backlog in the refund process which is making the normal timeframe longer than anticipated. Refund checks will be mailed as soon as they are ready. Thank you for your patience.
