Today, I went to the Bank of America to get a simple Cashier's Check. I was assisted by Ann Marie Winston, the Banking Center Manager. Their service was unacceptable.
After getting to the window, I had to wait an additional hour, due to apparent "printer" problems.
The Bank has a glamorous marketing appeal, but when you get to an actual bank, you are quite disappointed.
Inside, you find used, out dated equipment. For example, to print my check, they used an archaic dot matrix printers. This particular unit was on the fritz for an entire hour. The bank only had one printer.
The employees have no knowledge of anything, and are absolutely powerless to provide an answer to any question, even somewhat complex. To get assistance, you have to dial the banks 800 number.
In summary: horrible customer service, terrible banking centers, useless employees.
