In January I recieved a phone call from Credit Education Group with a credit card offer that would help straighten my credit, along with credit counceling. They wanted $299.99 to start the process, so follishly I let them ACH the money out of my account.
Later I recieved my information packet in the mail along with the application that I would need to fax back to them. I faxed it back to them and later called them back to see if it had been recieved, it had not.
This incident happened two more times, finally the third time (June 18th) I faxed my application they did recieve it and once again I called to verify. They told me that I would recieve somthing in the mail in 10 to 12 business days, I recieved nothing. I called them to see the what the problem was and they said it had been processed 3 different times, May 18th, May 30th, June 21st and that I needed to contact the three different banks that they delt with.
Unfortantly they had no contact numbers for the banks I had to get them myself. Once I had the numbers I contacted each bank and none of them knew who I was nor had any application. I called CEG and said that there was nothing else they could do. So where do I go from here?
