Well, where do I begin.
This actually all started back in August. We are now into the middle of January and nothing as of yet has happened with this company.
As the rest of you, I recieved a call saying that I was eligible to recieve a gauranteed mastercard or visa up to $1000.00. I thought great because my credit is not in the best of shape and I was needing to get back on my feet and rebuild my credit. The person never identified themselves until I actually ask whom it was I was speaking too. I ask if the credit card was coming from Prime One Financial and the response was, "yes". This was not true as I later found out. The representative claimed that all I needed to do was lay out $187 of my money as a down payment to recieve this guaranteed mastercard. He then said after doing so, I would recieve my guaranteed mastercard and "package" within 30 days. So I waited, and i waited a little longer.
Nothing, not a thing in the mail from these people. Other than them taking the $187 out of my account.
So it is November and thank goodness I kept the contact information. I call in to this place and it's ridiculous trying to get in touch with a representative that knows what is going on. They say that they sent me the package, but that obviously wasn't true. I then explained that I never recieved the package or my "guaranteed mastercard". He said, "you will not recieve your card until you get the package and then you need to fill out the credit card application and return it to him." So he then faxed me the application, I filled it out and faxed it back. He said I would then recieve my mastercard in the mail within 12-15 business days.
So this week being the second week of January I finally recieve a letter. Not from Prime One, but from Household Credit Services. The letter said that I already have a bankcard of this type with them. This I believe maybe the most honest thing I had heard throughout this whole ordeal, because yes I do have a credit card with Household Credit Services.
So we are back to square one, I call Prime One back and they ask me to fax the letter into them. I do so, and Tuesday of this week they told me I would here back from them on Friday. So, today is Friday. I call them and ask the representative 1005 if they did indeed recieve my fax and if they had me approved for another credit card. The guy says, "we never recieved your fax." I said, "well that's funny because I have a confirmation on my fax print out that says the fax was recieved." He ask me to refax the thing and I said I just want my money back. He said he would not be able to do this, they would first have to see if I qualify for another card through another bank.
Now obviously I am no genious, but I do know that I was told the card was coming from Prime One. I also know that this is a scam. I have been taken and will probably never see a credit card or my money back from this company. I have seen that there are others like me out there and I would like to take advantage of these guys for once. Is there anyone out there that feels the same?
