I was 1 month behind and called Litton Loan to see if there was a way that I could make monthly payments along with my regular monthly payments, they said I was not eligable for that but I was eligable for the modification trial, I then filled out the paperwork and made my payments like they said and each month I asked the question of "are you sure this is not hurting me" they said no.in November I get a letter from the forclosing attorney that my loan is in forclosure, I called Litton they said I was denied the modification, even though I never received a letter. Now they can't find the payments that were made to be applied to the loan and I can't get a hold of anyone that will give me answers.
I went from being 1 month behind to forclosure. How does this happen and they can get away with it. Thank god I saved my statements showing the payments went to them.
