I got my start in the mortgage industry in 1998 as a telemarketer and quickly rose through the company to eventually purchasing it in 11/99 at the age of 21. At the time the company had 10 employees and was funding less than 1MM per month in residential mortgages.By 2007 the company had grown to nearly 1000 employees and funding approx. 2 billion annually in mortgages as a mortgage banker with 30 offices located throughout the Southwest. I sold the business in 2/07. From 2/07 through 2/08 I acted as Chairman of Venture Commercial Mortgage & Development.
