To my surprise, I cannot believe that this bank has so abruptly cancelled all of their customers ability to SPEND! I did however receive notice from the bank notifying me of the cancellation of all FCNB credit cards. I was alright with that because I knew I had no business spending anymore than I already have.
However, what I am MOST upset about is during the Memorial Day weekend, I sent in my check for $55.00 about 8 days in advance before the due date. Well, when I received my bill for June, they charged me a $35.00 late charge even though my check was dated for the 5-19 and was clearly postmarked for that day. Memorial Day wasn't until the 26th of May. On my bill, the check did not post until 5-27.
8 whole days early and they freakin charged me a late fee because of the holiday! Boy was I furious! I said to myself "okay, i'll just give them a jingle and have them take it off for me". When I called to my surprise, there was NO ONE to speak with in the customer service dept.instead writing correspondance seemed ridiculous to me! I hope I'm not the only pissed off customer... Something needs to be done!
