NORTH CAROLINA CITIZENS, WXII12 updated the Fairbanks story in Winston Salem N.C. On June 10. There are 5900 homes in the state of N.C. Serviced by Fairbanks and that the company that transferred the loans to Fairbanks was a local mortgage company. I need to know if this is the same company that transferred my loan. Also, the North Carolina Banking Commission is trying to reach a settlement with Fairbanks about these loans.
If you haven't already filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office do so. Our fight is better fought in numbers. As of May 22 there were nearly 100 complaints filed against Fairbanks in the Attorney General's Office.
With Fairbanks servicing 5900 loans in the state of North Caarolina I'm sure that there are many more complaints that haven't been reported yet. If you or anyone that you know are having the same problems with Fairbanks encourage them to file complaints with Attorney General's office, HUD, FTC (Federal Trade Commission) and any other agency that might help you and them.
