I received a call from a woman named Janet about a visa card with a $2500 limit. 0% interest, no annual fee, no monthly charges, I would be able to consilidate any other bills I had onto the card, and I could get up to $500 cash advances a day if I chose to.
I was ok with all of this, even the $296.00 one time fee. The thing that got me was the fact that they wanted to debit my personal checking account. I have never heard of any credit card company wanting to debit your personal checking account for any fees regarding getting the card.
I also thought it was suspicious that everytime they called my number, and not get me, they didn't leave a message. So I gave them my info and they gave me my ref. #. Immediately after I got off the phone, I decided to get on the internet to see if they had a web site. I typed in the name of the company and received too many web addresses with that name to check. I typed the # of the customer service # in (877-572-6751) and the rip off page came up. I would say to all, BE WARE!!!
