On June 12 I received a call from a woman who wanted to give me a credit card with some high limit. So me young and not having any credit listened. Somehow she knew all my information accept my S.S. Number.
Next she asked for my bank account information which I so easily gave her. Then she asked for my check number in the amount of $296 which I gave her.
I was then passed to some kind of officer that spoke so softly that the only thing I heard clearly was "Please answer yes".
I was given a customer service number 877-572-6751 which every time I called all I got was a mailbox. The last time I called it the new message gave me a new customer service # 800-527-1307.
I called my bank and cancelled the check which cost me $20 and for some reason because I did it over the phone these people were still able to access my account. But to their luck I was already overdrawn so there wasn't anything for them to take. And they still hit me for another $27 for that.
So now I've had to change my account so they can't rip me. And for some reason another company called First Choice (800-513-8180) was the one that tried to withdraw it. And what happens when you call that number? Another stupid recording.
